🎊 Cultural Festivals: Sankranti, Ugadi, & Local Melas
Andhra Pradesh bursts into color and joy during its cultural festivals. Sankranti, celebrated in January, marks the harvest season and is known for its kite-flying, rangolis, and bull-taming traditions like "Gangireddu." Ugadi, the Telugu New Year, is a celebration of new beginnings with rituals, delicious “Ugadi Pachadi,” and cultural performances. Beyond these, the state hosts vibrant local melas (fairs) like Tirupati Brahmotsavam or Lepakshi Utsav, blending devotion, folklore, and community.
