Your Ride, Our Responsibility

Welcome to India Taxi Online (a brand of Travel India Online). By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or booking our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a smooth, safe, and transparent experience for all users.

🚕 1. Booking and Payment Terms

✅ 1.1 Ride Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Once your ride is confirmed, you will receive booking details via SMS/email/app notification.

💳 1.2 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payments through:

  • Credit/Debit Cards

  • UPI & Digital Wallets (Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe, etc.)

  • Net Banking

  • Cash (in select cases)

💰 1.3 Fare Structure

Fare is calculated based on:

  • Total distance and estimated travel time

  • Vehicle type (Sedan, SUV, Tempo Traveller, etc.)

  • Time of booking (peak/off-peak) and current demand

Toll tax, state tax, and parking charges (if any) are billed separately or collected at actuals.

🔁 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

❌ 2.1 Cancellations

Users may cancel a ride using the app, website, or by calling our support team. Applicable charges and refund criteria are clearly mentioned in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

💸 2.2 Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method based on eligibility. Processing typically takes 30 minutes to 24 hours, depending on the payment gateway or bank.

👤 3. Passenger Responsibilities

🙏 3.1 Behavior & Conduct

All passengers are expected to:

  • Treat drivers and co-passengers with courtesy

  • Avoid causing damage to the vehicle or driver property

  • Follow local travel laws and safety protocols

Misconduct may result in ride cancellation or a service ban.

🎒 3.2 Lost Items

India Taxi Online is not liable for lost or forgotten items. Passengers are advised to double-check before exiting the vehicle. Assistance may be provided if the item is reported promptly.

🔐 4. Safety Guidelines

🪢 4.1 Seatbelt Policy

All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times during the journey, in accordance with traffic laws.

👶 4.2 Children & Minors

Children must be secured in appropriate seating (child seat, booster). Minors traveling alone may require parental or guardian approval and must provide contact details in advance.

🚫 5. Service Limitations

📍 5.1 Availability

Services may not be available in all locations, especially during high demand or severe weather. In such cases, users will be notified, and alternate arrangements may be offered.

🔧 5.2 Changes or Disruptions

India Taxi Online reserves the right to:

  • Modify service features

  • Cancel rides due to operational or safety issues

  • Perform system maintenance without prior notice (in case of emergency)
